    Hi there,

Just wondering if anyone knows the answer to this.

If you sell a property that you bought on HTB scheme, are you penalised? I thought I remember there being a financial penalty, but I can't remember exactly nor could I find online.

Just wondering if anyone knew off-hand.

They claw back 20% for each year under 5 years after you sell.

    1 year - 80%
    2 years - 60%
    3 years - 40%
    4 years - 20%
    5 years - no clawback.
