    Thanks - I just meant was there any other easy way without having to cut the pb above and below each noggin - looks like that might be the only option

    Need to run some extra cat 6 cabling to TVs so trying to find the path of least resistance - was thinking of coming down from the attic into the bedrooms for example and potentially down again along the same wall for downstairs - will have another think about it

    Give the OH the cc and send shopping
    then run white elec conduit down the corner of the rooms, wont be seen.:)

    else just notch the noggins deep enough to take the cable, using a coat hanger or similar to thread it in behind the board between each noggin.
    a bit of making up and painting, maybe the whole wall so I prefer the conduit
