Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Shed roof advice

I'm looking for some advice on a roof for an old shed. It's 40 years old and the roof felt keeps ripping off in the wind. I've thought about replacing the shed completely but no longer have a garage so I don't think there is the access required anymore.

I think the roof keeps ripping because some of the roof slats are rotten and this created an uneven surface. So my thoughts were to replace with a steel roof or a plywood sheet with felt on top.

If I go with steel roofing then the cost looks to be about 300, which would be ok, but I don't know how likely it would be to get wind damage?

Don't have any pics but it's a standard looking garden shed, 200x150cm each roof side.

If the main body and floor of the shed are in good condition there should be no problem in patching damaged timbers or replacing the roof and putting on new torch-on or mineral felt.
