Hi, I have 39 days absences (certified) and 7x days (uncertified)

I have been in CS service since 2017, will this affect any future promotions or am I under the limits?*

*I heard it was 45 days over 4 years or something...

    Cheers

    BDK

Is the 39 days is all one continuous absence?
I think that would be a positive factor

The limits are 90 days over 1 year and 120 days over 4 years. It can be discounted if for legitimate reasons eg I know someone who had 200 days sick leave but it was discounted because they were in a car crash so like no choice.

Thanks, those numbers seem quite high, 90 days over one year?

So I'm okay with my absences over the 4 years?

    8 uncertified

If you google the civil service sick leave circular there's a section on sick leave and promotion/acting up. It says 56 sick leave days or 25 instances in rolling 4 year period is the threshold. Prorated down if less than 4 years seevice.

Pregnancy related sick leave is also discounted for promotion
