Does anyone know if its possible to withdraw money from a credit union in a different part of the country? Or is it just in your own branch you can do it?

    Each credit union is separate.

Note that as CU have merged, a CU may have several branches.

    Take Athenry CU for example:

    https://www.athenrycu.ie/

It has six branches, I suspect all previous small CU that merged.

That is very common now across Ireland.

But to answer your question, NO.

I assume you are talking about withdrawing money from your shares, in which case the answer is no.

If you've a Current Account with your Credit Union, then you might be able to withdraw with your debit card, for example.

    Thanks,

    G.
