Painting newly skimmed ceiling

Had a leak that was recently fixed and have had the water damaged section removed, and re slabbed and skimmed. I've left it 3 weeks to dry out so just wondering if I can just paint with the likes of Dulux brilliant white ceiling paint, or if I need to prime (probably wrong word, new to this DIY lark!) new surface first?

    Thanks.

Mist coat of immulsion and water 70:30 or 60:40.Up to yourself but make sure you put on the mist coat first followed by your standard coat.
