    Not just huge........Fe(kin huge!

62cm ctc seat tube/58 ctc top tube.

1983 531C Raleigh frameset, built by their lightweight workshop (not SBDU); Prugnat lugs, Campagnolo dropouts; 126mm rear spacing, BSA BB threading.

I bought this for the parts that were on it.

Are you a freakishly large giant who fancies a bit of vintage steel bike restoration?

If so, you can have this for free, as long as you don't intend to turn it into a fixie and cut the rear derailleur hanger off.

It's a lovely frame, made by masters craftsmen and has some lovely details, including the beautiful lugwork, shot-in rear stays and chromed stay/fork ends.

It was originally painted in the TI Raleigh livery but was repainted gloss black in the 80s by the original owner.

I'm in Waterford but will be in Dublin in the next couple of weeks.

What height rider would a frame this size suit?

I'd have guessed 6'4" or so. It's always hard to tell when you just see a frame but when you look at the gap between the top tube and the down tube on the steerer/head tube it's telling. I have another massive frame knocking about somewhere I must put it up as a freebie.

About 74cm crank centre to seat rail would be a good fit and keep the seatpost relatively short.
