Bloody adjusting circular plate broke this morning on my Cosmo V500 fertiliser spreader. Attached are pics. Jeez the steel plate I'm holding, looks like it was just glued in place. No sign of welding or brazing at all.
Anyone ever repair one? Can't be bolted in. No room at back for head of bolt.

Pic 02 shows where it should be when right. You can see on Pic o1 where it was glued.

Would I make sh1te of it if I went welding it? Moving plate is stainless and top fixed plate is aluminium.

Got a new sliding plate for older vicon, hard to repair ( no way of using bolts with sliding plate as you say) Piece broken off is aluminium I think ?? On vicon its spot welded on to sliding plate. If you can weld aluminium no harm in trying

Good man. I have one here, off the old machine. It was thrown up on a old trailer outside. The hole design at the end of the metal is different, but I'm going to chance welding one tab on the other. Both are steel.
