What wood is this?

Hi all

What type of wood would get this effect on kitchen cabinet doors? Not the shiplap/slatted effect but rather the grain in the wood itself.

Grain in the last picture looks like fiddle back sycamore. Used for musical instruments.
Could also be maple.

First picture reminds me of rubberwood. Plentiful timber used for cheap mass production
items.

Another option for the last picture would be London Plane, also called Lacewood, they are the trees you often see on city streets , which look like the bark is peeling off them

The stripey effect on the door in the first picture are marks purposely left by a band saw.

Thanks, this is good to know as that is the effect I would like to get, on whatever wood that is used. I'm after that effect more so than any particular type of wood, the cheaper the better in this instance.

Hi all, apologies for hijacking the thread but would anyone know what timber this is? Appears to be quite and exotic timber, really unusually dense/heavy and really red. Has been left outside in weather forever and in perfect condition after a bit of a sand.. any ideas anyone?
