Wood fence post in tarmac driveway

Does anyone have any ideas for fixing a wooden fence post into tarmac? I have a drive way around the house and herself wants to fence across the garden to the house, this means I need one post in the middle of the driveway.
I am thinking for cutting a 8" square and banging down an achor post, through the hardcore, but not sure how this would work.

The fence will be about 6 foot high.
    Any ideas?

Cut it out dig down post Crete post into the ground. Can finish with concrete or a bag of premix tarmac to flush
