Leak Sealer for Solar (Glycol filled) System

    Hi,

Is it ok to use a leak sealer like Tec 7 Plumb on a glycol filled solar system?
I have no visible leaks on my system but I suspect that there is a small weep somewhere as the system pressure reduces over time (slowly).

I was going to add in a can of Tec 7 Plumb when I am next changing the glycol in an attempt to seal up any potential weep..

    Thoughts?

    Mike

have you checked the pressure in the expansion tank if its not pressurized it can allow fluid to leak out the pressure relief valve

    Thanks Dathi.
That is on my radar for a full health check this weekend.
