VPN for a smart TV ...

    Hi, I'm thinking of signing up to NordVPN, I have a Samsung Smart TV and seems the only way to use this via a VPN is by installing the VPN on router level ? Problem is some people have told me that a new router might not work, ISP have it blocked, not sure how, but don't wanna risk getting a new router for it to be useless, how about a firestick ? Can I configure that to use a vpn ?

    What you trying to watch or do with the VPN.

    A smart DNS could be worth looking into.

    Ideally I'd like to be able to access the Irish catalogue of Netflix ...
