Window Blind/Shutter/Curtain Query

    Folks,
See attached photo. Any idea how this window could be completly blocked from light, but then have no blockage of light during the day? Curtains even when drawn block some light during the day as the window space is too tight, blinds can only be made custom due to the shape of the window and are extremley expensive, is there any type of shutter that comes to mind? Thanks

Blackout fabric cut to the shape of the window.
Then 3M velcro tape or similar, hook tape on the frame, loop tape on the fabric and put it up/take it down as and when needed.

Not a bad idea, where would the blind go when you take it off for the morning though, stored in a press or is there a way of rolling up such a blind up onto one side without blocking the window?
