Later in the year Im going to be taking up the floor and fitting insulation toa suspended floor (concrete underneath) ground-floor.
The existing floor boards are in a bit of a state after years of being in place so Im thinking of replacing the sub floor. Im not sure what we will be finishing with, she has mentioned parquet wood.

So whats the best option to do the sub floor. Replace the boards with fresh new ones, ply board or chip board. Or something else?

The joists are quite near each other around 250mm apart
