    Hi,

I got this table last year. We liked it because it had the unfinished look. I've just uncovered it for the first time. Lots of the finish came away with a wipe. Whats the best way to refinish it so it's best protected but keeps that unfinished look? Maybe a matt varnish? any particular brands?

Sand, then rub with teak oil

That is all going to come off at some stage. Agree with Listermint...completely remove it and oil it rather than varnish.

I refinished some old hardwood furniture with a furniture oil from Jysk and it came up great, teak oil would be great too of course.
