Budget €350 what to get?

I currently have a iPhone6, have it going on nearly 3 years. Fine phone that does mostly what i want but battery has become awful really at this stage so want to change plus its an old phone now and will probably start missing some updates soon

I'm paying €30 a month on Vodafone PAYG, gives me everything i need.

I have always used iPhone since i got my first smartphone around 2009 but the cheapest prepay option for any type of iPhone now appears to be around €450 which i feel is too much

I'm open to trying Android and hope it wouldn't be too difficult having been so used to iphone over the years

What would people reccommend on a €350 budget?

Ideally good battery, decent camera, good quality screen for watching Netflix, youtube, etc. Would probably favour something not too big in size as i'm used to a fairly small size phone with current one

Open to any suggestions really, i'm not fixed on any particular brands, models, etc

Pixel 4a all day - on offer right now with Vodafone for €179 (Argos still offer it for €430). Fantastic phone. Camera is the same as all Pixels and battery is great, nice size form factor. I pre-ordered and have had mine since last year, never let me down.

    Discount Code: VF0013

Great thanks. There seems to be confusion around that deal from what i've seen online. Lots of people getting orders cancelled etc. But i'd definatly give it a try at that price

Would anyone have any further reccommendations?

I was trying to get a Pixel 4A from Vodafone but impossible with orders cancelled, etc. The website seems a disaster

    Anything else worth looking at?

You can pick up the Pixel 4a from Adverts from people who were successful, should get it for €250 but some looking for top €€€€

The Google Store has it currently available for €339 while the 5G variant is €399

The samsung phones in the A range are great quality, I think they compete with the s8/9/10's etc. You can get one for free from a carphone warehouse type shop if you sign up to a provider. Although, gomo is so cheap it might be worth looking into going with them in buying a sim and buying a phone outright.

    Whats GoMo like for coverage?

30 quid a month, that day is gone, you'd get the same deal with any other provider for half that!

Thanks for the info...coming to the end of my €30 per mth contract with EIR, which included purchase of a phone. But, my God, step outside their allowance, and you will pay the price. So checking out the alternatives now.

Try their sister company, gomo, about €12 a month for unlimited everything except international

I have a three phone and a gomo phone, both the same coverage.

    gomo is 14.99 now

started off on a 9.99 deal, then went to 12.99, now 14.99

all calls and texts, 120gb data, 10gb eu roaming data, reasonable speeds, coverage is not so good in some rural or in some buildings.

I suppose i'm sticking with Vodafone as their coverage is very good in my area while others seem quite poor

Is the €179 offer still active - when I proceed to select the phone; it changes to €279.99.?
