Ha sorry, meant to include a photo, but won't upload.

For course fishing, a lot of fisheries are still closed under covid

Phot is there, nice looking spot.

Game and sea fishing is open, plenty of lakes and canals open for coarse fishing too.

Got out to a local lake here for the first time last weekend since restrictions eased. A fishing rod santy had brought my small man had been little used. He had a few casts off the local pier with it but that was it. I tried the fly rod first to no avail and of course he had to try his rod at the lake. I put on a small mepps and I'd cast it and he'd reel it in. About forth or fifth cast he hooked and successfully landed in fairness to him a plump 1lb brownie. The pride.

    Memories of a lifetime

I've hit the beaches a few times so far, mixed success but one decent day out.
I've also been down my local river once a week with minnow traps but there doesn't seem to be any about. So far I've caught one which I happily released back to tell his friends where the free food was.
