Hoping to do some off-road riding this summer.

There’s plenty of gravel locally but not many rough trails so a hard tail or even rigid fork mtb is what I’m after. Must be in good condition.

    Don’t mind if it’s 26”, 27.5” or 29er.
Don’t mind if it’s a few years old as long as it’s running well.

    Small or medium size frame.
    Budget €400

Based in Mayo but happy to collect when restrictions allow or even arrange and cover cost of courier if you can box it up.

I have a cube analog 16in frame that I recently rebuilt with all new 3x9 sram x5 and level brakes fockshox xc28 fork.
    Looking for 550 for it

Have a 2010 Trek 6500 hardtail with 100mm rockshock recon forks.
Size 18.5in. I am 5ft10 and it just works for me. Probably ideal for 5ft7 to 5ft10 range. Currently has a 100mm stem on it, so loads of room to shorten the reach.
It is 26in, deore, slx, xt mix. Shifts well.
It is 3x9. I have brand new 32t and 22t chainrings and an 11-30 cassette and chain ready to be installed.
Also have a carbon rigid fork that would go with it.
Currently shod with heavier/grippier tires but have a lighter set of bontrager xc tires that I was thinking of using for gravel. Also included are a pair of 1 1/8 slick tires if you ever want to use it on the road.

The usual cosmetic paint fade/scratches etc.
The rotors are not perfectly straight and you can hear them rubbing but it genuinely doesn't seem to impact rolling resistance.
The 42 tooth outer chainring is well worn due to scratches going over rocks/logs. Offroad I never really use this chainring. But it still retains the chain well if I am ever using it on the road.

€250 all in, collection in dublin.
If interested, happy to send pics/videos

Hi Euppy. I’d gladly offer asking on your bike if OP isn’t interested. Can collect at weekend.

    Hey,
Thanks for all the info and pics of the bike. Unfortunately, it's not going to be a quick sale as I won't be heading to Dublin as soon as I had planned.

I see there is interest from another potential buyer also so if it works better for you, feel free to proceed with letape.

I'll keep an eye on the thread and if it's still available when I'm in the east again, I'll be in touch.

So I was a bit premature with looking to sell this. I thought I'd get a new upgraded replacement easily.

However, talking to both work and bike shops - work wont run the bike2 work for me until September and bike shops don't have the type of bike I'm looking for in stock anyway. Hoping by late Summer they will have clarity on what 2022 stock they will have coming in.

So I'm going to hold on to my trek until September time and then look to sell it. Want to be able to hit the trails over the Summer.
