Hi all, looking for recommendations on a sim free phone to a budget of about €250. For someone who's been using Samsung for years but happy to change to a different manufacturer.

    Thanks

    Samsung A41

Closer to 200 than 250. I bought an Italian model from amazon.de so it came with a two pin plug.

You can use older chargers but the one that comes with the A41 supports fast charging, it will charge 10% every 10 minutes up to 90%, then it slows down and will take about 30 minutes to get to 100%.

The way Samsung is chasing the people prepared to spend iPhone money, they almost hide the A41. When you click on 'mobile' and Galaxy A, you still can't see the A41, you have to click on 'Show All' to list it.

Another brand to look at is OPPO?

Have the OPPO A72 for about a month now.

If you don't mind not having AMOLED screen of the above, more storage & bigger battery than above for similar price.
