BaaS is the Right Solution for Chat Or Social Media App?

    Hi Everyone!

    My company is planning to launch its own chat application to convey all messages to employees, especially when they are working from home. Basically, we are willing to avoid zoom, WhatsApp and other applications. Our reason is not only the data compromise by using these apps, but we are also working on this project as a futuristic approach.

    Indeed, it is better to hire a custom app development company to build this application. Still, as a beginner, we are willing to go with any server-side support and probably, our technical team can handle all frontend operations. In this regard, we found backend as a service a better option, and probably you can see more from these sources.

    However, we are not sure how much cost-effective it would be for our project. It would be great if you share your experiences. Secondly, do you think we should pick Backendless, DigitalOcean or Firebase? Which is the most suitable option here?
