Hi all, The AutoSave Draft feature is now disabled across the site. The decision to disable the feature was made via a poll last year. The delay in putting it in place was due to a bug/update issue. This should serve as a reminder to manually save your drafts if you wish to keep them. Thanks, The Boards Team.

IVF abroad - is it worth it?

Myself and OH have been thinking of going abroad for IVF treatment. We have done two rounds here in Ireland unsuccessfully and to be honest weren't too thrilled with the level of knowledge and care that we received. Looking at the initial prices in a clinic in Prague, they are a lot less expensive than here but when you add on all of the extras, is it really worth it?

Travel, accommodation, medications (if you can't get them on DPS), scans and other tests here before you travel, plus nowadays Covid tests, etc.

We were looking at a place in Prague as it was recommended to us but not sure with the current climate if it will be worth a small saving for the extra hassle of travelling and Covid tests each times, etc.

Has anyone been abroad for treatment and thought it was better, cheaper, worth the hassle of travelling?

    Thanks.
