    Hi

My house alarm has triggered a few times over the last while at stupid o clock in the morning and each time it’s been front door fault.
I have a video doorbell and know that nobody has been at the door to cause this alarm but I’m wondering where to start. I had one issue a few weeks ago where it wouldn’t set because it said the front door was open even though it was locked tight. Would it be worth a chance just changing the sensor?

Sounds like the sensor is faulty on the front door.
Replacing like with like should solve the issue, just make sure you take a few photos of wiring before taking apart.

Ok thanks. Will the alarm start alarming when I do it if I haven’t got it set?

If it does, simply put your user code in on the keypad to turn off.
