    Looking for car insurance for a 20 year old male, full Irish licence.

    18yr old
    1 years named driver experience
    Just passed test so full licence now
    151 Toyota Yaris 1.0
    Best quote as main driver with parents added to policy looks to be Liberty at 1095 including breakdown.
    Is this good or does it seem expensive. I felt it was good as I've only just turned 18. Thoughts?

    I could only dream of such a quote when I was 18.

    £2052 (pounds), 1986. Back then a decent 2 bed semi in Goatstown, south Dublin was £33,000 and a TD's salary was £16,000.

    Its gas. People dont seem to realise just how expensive motor insurance was up until the likes of Quinn and 123 skewed the market in the mid 00's and we entered a race to the bottom price wise which is still not back in check to this day.
