    Hi,

Just wondering about the best dusk to dawn lights to light up a school yard.

Want it to make the place bright to deter people loitering in the school yard.

    Thanks

I wouldn't use a permanant light. Noting to do with the cost, an LED light uses very little power but if you install a light with a sensor i.e. one that switches on by a motion detector, there will be a perception that when it comes on, a hidden camera is also activated to record the visitors. Or a silent alarm is activated and alerts the cops or a security company. A permanent light won't deter anyone.
