Respirator mask

Anyone know of a good mask for spraying roundup-agritox I will be using a15gallon sprayer of the back of the quad.

Don't skimp on the mask.At the very least get half face mask or if can afford it full face mask as will protect eyes also. You don't want to be inhaling them fumes.

Any ffp3 mask is what you need

Don't forget the goggles.....more absorbed thru your eyes

There a massive variation even in FFP3 masks.

Have some here from Galway mask company and they are rubbish, no proper seal on them at all.

For spraying I always use a half face mask.

Have a couple of these for playing with grain dust. You want ppe3 filters to be safer from vapours/fumes

Have a PR3 dust filter and an ABEK1 on it. All the small seals straps etc are serviceable which is very important.
There's a full face version also but can't comment as haven't used it

When you are spraying pesticides technically your spraying tiny droplets. An ffp3 mask is will fine. Theoretically there is no fumes it is particulate so ffp3. The most important thing when you are using a mask make sure you are clean shaven to get a good seal to your face. Get a mask the fits your face small mask small mask most people are medium / average and some large. 100% get a reusable mask. If have anymore questions pm me I should be able to steer you right

I have a 3M 7503 reusable mask here with 3M 6099 Combination Filters. I got it tru work. Comfortable to use.
I wouldn't be well up on it's spec & applications though.

Splash a little. It's marvelous yo have eyes properly covered. Hate taking risks with chemicals...Proper PPE is a small investment. Put it away properly after use and it'll last for years.
