Importing 7.5T Lorry from UK

    Hello.
    I am looking at purchasing second hand 7.5 tonne lorry from a commercial dealers in the six counties.
    They have had it in their possession since February 2021.
    The truck is presently registered with english registration.
    Before 2021 it was simply get truck weighed, pay 200€ VRT, pass an Irish DOE and away you go.
    Since 01/01/21 what has changed (if any?)
    Would be grateful if anyone can guide me please.
    I've searched Revenue and can only get reference to cars.
    Nowhere is there a reference to HGV's and cannot find any phone number to talk to a human being ! :(
    As a BTW I am not registerd for VAT.

    I would suggest to email ecustoms@revenue.ie
    or visit NCT centre with VRT section. One in Naas, Ballymun that I know of.
