Sowed a tray of Canterbury Bell seeds and only just realised they won't flower til next year.
    Delighted with myself they germinated.

I sowed a packet of Sweet Williams last year, also biennials, and they flowered beautifully the first year, and are doing well for this year. Keep on with them, you never know!

Yep, you never know. I sowed some lupins last year to bloom this year; some of them squeezed in a quick flower at the end of the season.
