    Hi guys,where is the cheapest place to insure a tractor?Also what is the tax on a tractor annualy,Thanks guys

    Only FBD will provide Tractor Insurance on its own.

    Axa and the other insurance companies that provide agriculture insurance will only insure tractors if you take out Farm Insurance with them.
    (At least that was the case a couple of months ago when I made enquiries)

    there are five companies that do Farm Insurance its really a matter of ringing them and seeing. The companies are

    AXA
    FBD
    Aviva
    Liberty
    Zurich

    If you have your house insurance with any of them it may help you get tractor insurance

    Did I see AnPost advertising farm insurance now too. Probably brokering one of the above.
    Still, more the merrier.

    Innovu also offering farm insurance also. Probably just brokering for the others but might be worth giving them a shout.
    Got a tractor added to my FBD policy last week. €160 3rd party F&T valued at 8k

    Fbd don't cover glass breakage on 3rd P, F& T policy, Zurich do and not sure about Axa think possibly yes
