Let me know if you see any mistakes folks. :)

    6. JIMI HENDRIX

    a3966404d8d9e15933e6bf8c939c7f77.gif

Hendrix’s playing was often described as incendiary and he once released a song called Fire. He also had a habit of setting his guitar on fire! Poor Strat :(

    7. Bo Diddley

    Bo%20Diddley,%201974%20%2002.jpg
Hey, Bo Diddley! Like a lot of the old blues guitarists Bo used to make homemade guitars from a cigar box and a broom-stick as a child. They are called diddley bows, which was where he got the inspiration for his stage-name. He went back to that simple, no-nonsense design when he got the chance to create his own signature guitar.

same here, and I was going to submit a list of random guitar players from bands i like just so I could be part of the reveal. even if i was 100% linking them to the wrong guitar.

but I would have needed to google their names, so then I'd have been half cheating.

so I just said scrap that, I'll stick my nose into the reveal anyway :D

It might look silly but having heard Metheny playing it in the NCH a couple of years ago I can assure you it sounds amazing. Mind you, a plastic ukelele would probably sound amazing in Pat's hands!
Part of the act, he used lighter fluid. Shame to waste a guitar but it did look very cool though

There was a story doing the rounds that Frank Zappa got his hands on what remained of that guitar and gave it to Abraham Wechter - John McLaughlin's luthier - and he brought it back to life and that said guitar is now in the possession of Frank's son Dweezil. However, I've read elsewhere that that's a load of not true.
