    Looking to replace old timber - side hung - garage doors - with steel doors
    North Dublin -
    Size of ope c. 2700mm x 2150mm -
    anybody out there with supply / fit contractor recommendation -

    I had a man I hired from Trademen.ie knock a 2m wide hole in the gable end of my garage (€400), including replacing the lintel.

    Then I got a nice wood-effect steel roller door with locks from Doherty Roller doors for about €700-800 including installation. That was 2 years ago, couldn't be happier. It slides up nice and easily, and gives me a back garden/sun-facing door and fresh air rather than showing all my neighbours what I'm building.

    seems you got a good job there - I sorted mine with some DIY - put replacement on the long finger - probably will regret
