    Hoping someone here has access to newspapers.com and wouldn't mind looking up an obituary for me?

    Ancestry showing below;

    Name: Patrick Porter
    Gender: Male
    Residence Place: Native county Donegal, Ireland
    Death Date: 12 Feb 1985
    Obituary Date: 14 Feb 1985
    Obituary Place: New York, New York, United States of America

    It's really just what we would call a death notice in the paper, rather than an obituary.
