Trailer lights

    Hi I have a tuffmac trailer the indicators are working but the 4 lights on top of the trailer and the back lights are not. bulbs are good and there no sign of dampness in the units could someone please advise me what else I could check ? I was reading similar post and junction boxes were mentioned would my trailer have one of those?

    Have you tried the trailer on another car, or the car with another trailer?

    Hi thanks for the reply I had it on a tractor and it was the same I’m working on it at the moment there was a loose connection in one of the back lights I fixed it but now the indeicator won’t work it has to be something small I’m just not spotting it what else could I check would you know

    Check the earthing points on the trailer, and obviously the wiring in the lamp you were working on earlier.
