    I have it on my LG Smart TV but when I click on the icon and pick something I want to watch, it goes into the adverts and then say error and the programme does not download, any idea'?

    Yeah, give up and burn your telly. The RTE player is a shambles. Has been for years and they dont seem interested in fixing it.
