Mens bar soap

I prefer using a bar of soap instead of shower gel. Just find it lathers up better and lasts longer.

Normally I stock up when I'm in the US as the dove bars work out at around $1 each. where as in Ireland they are very expensive.

Does anyone have any good recommendations for bars of soap that are reasonably priced in Ireland/Europe?

I use Taylors of Old Bond Street Sandalwood soap, it's not cheap but it's about £8 on Amazon for a 200g bar and it lasts ages.

I use the shaving soap version of that and it's a really classic soapy scent. Also lasts for ages.

Soaps from Donegal Natural Soap company are just gorgeous, and they have a loofah soap that I'm using at the moment which I'm loving.

Three hills soap company, Irish online shop. €5 or 6.

Bit pricey, especially the French stuff, but lasts longer.

Cedar soap is best I find. Been using bars well over a year after seeing it discussed on a thread here.

Dove soap bars are cheap on amazon. I bought a box for around 15 euro, lasted me around a year.

Looks like it's out of stock now. I paid 12 quid over a year and a half ago and I'm only on the last bar now. Bargain really compared to shower gel.

2 Dove bars were 1.49 in boots today, even cheaper on the boots website:

Those bars are very cheap. But I find the Men+ Care ones are better. I've ordered in another shipment from the US but will try the more expensive soaps suggested here as well

How do you shower with soap, do you rub your body with the bar or put soap on a cloth?
