Dublin's 98FM has been around since November 1989. Over the years, it has had many different combinations of weekday breakfast show hosts. Here are some of them that either I was aware of, or found on the internet. Note: I haven't listened to its breakfast show in years!

The first was Pat Courtenay and Elaine Geraghty- Pat and Elaine.

They were succeeded by "The Dawn Patrol", i.e. Mark Byrne, Debbie Allen and Morgan Jones.

Others: Nails Mahoney, aka Brian McColl, Kara Hanahoe and Aidan Cooney (Kara and Cooney), Ruth Scott and Dermot Whelan (Ruth and Dermot), Claire Solan and Aidan Power, Ray Foley. Steven Cooper and Luke O'Faolain (Cooper and Luke), Jim McCabe and of course the current presenters - Rebecca (Shekleton) and Brendan (O'Loughlin).

There has to have been more.

Just checked her name. Siobhan O'Connor, along with Dermot Whelan and Dave Harrington.

Debbie Allen co-hosted with Jim McCabe and I have a vague recollection that the late Dermot Morgan hosted it, I think as a guest host, for a week or so.

Dermot Morgan did comedy inserts with Pat and Elaine for a short spell after Scrap Saturday wrapped up on RTE Radio 1
