Our LPG boiler boiler needs to be replaced. The automatic vent valve leaked and damaged the now obsolete controller
It’s a 28 KW condensing boiler with a 4 pipe system as we have hot water priority. The House is a dormer bungalow built in 2004 with underfloor heating downstairs (170 metres Squared) and radiators upstairs (85 Metres squared).
We Have had 2 plumbers in to price so far, one recommended a 26 KW Veissman Vitodens and as seeing we have hot water priority we can go with a smaller boiler, the other plumber has to check models but he recommending up the size to 30 kw. We never noticed any issues heat output wise with our current 28KW.
    My queries are
    1. What other makes/model have a 4 pipe system for hot water priority?
    2. Would 26 kw be adequate? I don’t if the house was sized correctly from the previous owner.
    3. Is there much price difference between a 26 and 30 KW of the same boiler.
    4. What kind of flushing would be normal for underfloor heating as in is a powerflush overkill?
    Thanks for any help
