    Hello,
I am having issues with my virgin media hub, its internet light (green one) has been blinking for some time now.

No internet, plus nor a reboot nor a reset helped: I am in Dublin 6.
    Thank you

    Probably is an area issue

Yes, I thought about it, too, although no other led/light is on on the modem, weird, it looks like the modem cannot complete startup

those kind of issues have happened myself in the past, it does sound like an area problem, rather than equipment problem, but i could be wrong. im on virgin here, and its working perfect, im no where near dublin though

    Try restarting the box

    How long is 'some time'?
It can take a long time if they are doing something their end. Even a reboot and reconnect can take ten minutes to fully complete.

yes, performed bot ha hard reset and a reboot a couple of times, with no luck. Cable is plugged correctly, issue seems to have started during the night as everything was fine last evening

Don't really know when it started during the night, since last evening everything was fine, but no internet since I woke up a couple of hours ago...

And a reboot, hard reset, that I am aware it can take up to 10-15 minutes, didn't help, unfortunately: I contacted Virgin: they said they'll send a technician tomorrow morning, but this may also be an area issue (at least, I'm not excluding it)...
