Thinking about making some wooden garden furniture. Just wondering what would be the best wood and where to get it.

Was thinking ash maybe. Other than red/white deal I'm yet to see anyone sell other types in hardware shops. Guessing deal/spruce or other softwood wouldn't be suitable?

Larch is a good option, shouldn't be too hard to source.

I think your wallet will get a shock if you go to buy hardwoods. As a first timer I think I would stick to pressure treated softwood.
