Looking for some info please. You may have seen my previous threads describing the nightmare I had with an i40 I bought from a dealer with a fried engine and leaking gearbox and Abs sensors broken and a dangerously defective tyre which was bubbled on the inside . And when I tried to return the car, I was also accused of causing damage to the car that was on it when bought. (had photos on forecourt)

17 months later I have finally got my money back after going the legal route, and the dealer took the HSE track of offering my money back on the steps of the court, while denying any responsibility.

Now id like to know from people in the trade who are the main Auction houses this car would possibly sold through again, so I can flag it and not have some other poor bas£#rd caught with a crock of sh1t!

Also I have contacted Cartell with the details, but are there other company's I can flag the car with?

If they've bought it back, it's not your business.

It'd be naive to think it'll be crushed etc. It'll pass through the trade and be sold on again. Auctions are exactly the right place to sell a car like that.

Sounds like a personal vendetta at this stage, I don't blame you to feel annoyed after being made wait so long for refund, but it's not your job to keep that car off the road. It will sell again. Time and energy spent with no result is all you'll get. Once the car passes nct it's ripe for sale.

They sold me a dangerously defective vehicle, told lies about me, kept my money for 17 months and cost me 2 grand in legal fees.

They will have that car on the forecourt again next week, or else sold off through auction for another person to get caught. I would have thought that these kind of people would want to be hounded out of the trade, not a blind eye turned to it?

What garage would you not recommend buying off?
