Hi just looking for a bit of advice,
Golf keeps failing emissions.
Limits are .20 %

First test results: low idle co .20 hc13ppm
High idle co.85 hc56ppm

Changed cat converter, Air filter, spark plugs, oil and oil filter.

2nd test: low idle co .22
Hc 22ppm
High idle: co.25 hc 28ppm

Thought it was close enough so used dipethane during the week then brought it for a really good drive down the motorway in lower gear before test.

3rd test:
Low idle .12 hc 31ppm..pass
High idle .54 hc 138ppm..fail

Lambda has been a constant pass so no issues there

So just failing now on high idle but honestly lost at what to do next. Any advice would be much appreciated thanks

What were the low idling engine speeds (RPM) for those three tests?.

Did you check for air leaks on hoses around throttle body.
would also ask how smooth tickover is and if engine wobbles alot back and forth.
