my mother moved into her new house in the past few weeks , situation is pretty annoying with regards crows and birds in general making noise , never mind sh1tting everywhere.

anyone got any faith in those bird decoys , plastic falcons and owls ? , perhaps the " scary eye " type balloon things are better ?

Plastic owls and falcons will probably get every crow in the area mobbing them. Is it an urban, suburban or rural area ? Lots of tall trees around ? Sounds like she mught have moved to an area with an existing roost.

I suspect she'll get used to the noise after a while.

its an area about 300 metres outside a village but is a one off house

so the plastic birds will just fascinate the crows and not scare them at all ?
