We've been stuck in restriction land for over a year now and I think a lot/ most people would like to fit in an oul holiday abroad or even at home at this stage! So what place would you like to be in right now for a holiday. I'm going for Sorrento :)

I'm planning a nice holiday when I can travel. Sorrento and the amalfi cost is gorgeous.

I'm looking at a safari - perhaps in Kenya and a week in zanzibar feck it. You only live once

Somewhere by the sea where it's warm but not roasting. Drinking a pint of Bulmers or Magners abroad, chilling out with nothing to worry about. Could be here or anywhere.

The first tee at my local golf club -poised to launch my trademark high looping draw down the first verdant fairway.

I’d hate to be 8km from a beach in these 5km restrictions.

Sitting on a terrace area overlooking the sea with a pint in front of me

a warm breeze blowing into my face and silence apart from the seagulls

Somewhere Spring is warm, the sky blue, the plants bursting to life and the crowds are not coming for a few months. A cottage in any small village within walking distance of the Mediterranean in any country will do me right now. It would be bliss.

The Marina Rubicon in Lanzarote having a lovely pint in the scorching sun. I’m easily pleased :)

Sitting on my terrace in La Cala de Mijas, listening to the birds in sipping a Rioja.

Working entirely online, so I could have been there all along. Would have led to a divorce though.

In my shop in Howth, it looks like it would be a good day for it.

Or in some parallel universe just coming out of the sea in Triopetra, southern Crete and heading into the lovely beach bar there for the rest of the afternoon.

I'd love to be on a boat moving slowly up the river in the rainforest in Borneo right now with not a care in the world.

Where I am is my happy place. I have no need to go anywhere.... Peace, the ocean, all home comforts... Beauty of mountains. A fire in the hearth and a cat or three purring away. Bliss!

I'm booked to go there in August  touch wood

Oh, just fking anywhere warm with a nearby sea. Am physically aching for a holiday at this stage. Just to turn off the laptop, put on the out of office, and let everything burn if that’s what happens.

Can never switch off like that when taking a few days at home.

But, yes, having some breakfast on a balcony with the warm breeze and the sound of the waves nearby. Heaven!!

I live in Spain, 5 min walk from the beach and don't appreciate it, I want to be in the North of Norway, I had a trip booked for last summer and sadly I think summer 2022 (more likely 2023) will be the earliest I can go ...

I got my scuba diving license in late 2019.I'd love somewhere warm and sunny with clear seas to make use of it!
    Canaries would be perfect.
The Philippines,Bali and Singapore if money was no object

Anywhere I don't have to look at my wife and kids, and I'm sure she feels the same :D

I'd love to be cycling in Tenerife, up to Masca Village, having a strong coffee whilst sitting in the sun admiring the view, and then cycling back to the coast for beers on the beach. Maybe next year :(

A lot of these posts put a smile on my face.
Could almost hear the ocean waves (it was actually the wind coming down the chimney) and could feel the warm breeze (the thermostat kicked in and started off the fan heater).
Oh to dream of warm beach walks and salt water swims ....

    Coqueluche Beach Bar is lovely.

Sitting there listening to live music at this time of the day and looking at the paragliders land around you.

    I love Tenerife.

    Gran Canaria.

Instead, we're going to Center Parcs. Nothing wrong with that, it's just not Gran Canaria.
