Construction work times

To the back of my estate is a disused warehouse building. It has been derelict for many years; the owners have been trying to get planning for houses without success in all the time Ive been here - to my knowledge it has been rejected at least three times by the council, and twice An Bord Pleanala.

They have applied to ABP again, but there seems to have been a ramp up in rhetoric with locals of "if I cant build houses, Ill use it for something you'll like even less". The site was dormant for years, but there has been a crew in clearing out the site at all hours over the last two weeks. As I type (Good Friday morning at 5am), there are two trucks and a grabber loading rubble outside my window.

I know when planning is granted, allowed work times are meant to be adhered to. My question is for general works not bound by planning, do similar time limits exist / under what rules might we be able to complain? I have no objection to their clearing out their site, but the timings are starting to feel deliberate.

    Thanks!

record it on video to prove the time... but thats a legal issue under which the gardai should be involved as it falls under noise pollution

you could also contact your local authority environmental health officer for advice
