    Too many unknowns,
for me I've a heavy muddy farm, brown soil but heavy. I use 1 bag/acre of sulpher CAN for grazing but i am lightly stocked so I usually wait until mid may to spread it.
For the Silage ground I used to use UREA but it has gone up in price, but it was at the rate of 1.5 bags/acre. This year it'll be just 2 bags of Sulpher CAN per acre for first cut, then Slurry for the second cut.
Most lads are fertilizing at double even treble what I spread but I find that all the extra fertilizer on Silage ground only gains you Silage two weeks earlier. For me it's not viable
