Difference between Sky and Virgin Broadband in South Dublin

Hi, sorry if this has been answered elsewhere, but I've looked and can't find anything.

In the past, I have always understood that Virgin's broadband was far superior to anything else on the market.

Is this still the case? In Kimmage in particular.

I'm paying Virgin for 120MB, and in fairness I'm getting exactly that.

But their TV service is atrocious (they've just told me they can't offer me a 360 box) so I'm thinking of moving to Sky.

Can sky offer anything close to 120MB (generally)?

Sky can offer 1000Mb, in some areas. Others it's 7Mb. You need to check your own address.

    Thanks.

In my experience, when Virgin sell you 150MG (for example) they actually deliver this.

Do you know whether it would be the same with Sky? If a sales person tells me they can deliver 150, could I find out after entering a contract that it's far lower most of the time?

    Use this: https://www.airwire.ie/index.php/avail

What it says you're pretty much guaranteed to get.
