    Hi,

Can I get opinions on the spec below please, I put ordering a PC on the long finger and now need one asap.

The main things I'll be using it for

Day Trading - need 4 monitor outputs
    Tableau - running BI Software
    Browsing/Excel
    There will be no gaming

This build from PC Specialist is coming in at 1520 - I'd be happy to order from somewhere else if anyone can recommend somewhere

Trader friend of mine uses a Quadro P600/P620 to connect 4x DisplayPort 4K monitors.
Lower power usage & stable drivers guaranteed.

3900X would want something beefier cooling it than a Wraith Prism if running 24/7. Or quieter.

2400 MHz RAM is unnecessarily slow for Ryzen, should be 3000/3200.

    SATA SSD? Why not M.2?

Thanks for the reply, to be honest I'm not that up to speed with the specs etc. What would you recommend? Would i be better off buying the components and building it myself?

Maybe consider getting a Dell & paying extra for Next Business Day on-site support:
    https://www.dell.com/en-ie/work/shop/deals/precision-3640-tower/spd/precision-3640-workstation/s007p3640mtwer

for €979 ex-VAT that machine is a steal, just replace the RAM with 2x 16 GB (€160-190).

If you want to self-build, you can spec up following on AmazonDE:

    With Intel Core i9-10900: https://de.pcpartpicker.com/list/FLw9Yg
    With AMD Ryzen 9 3900X: https://de.pcpartpicker.com/list/HMTsrr

Nothing you do is demanding in the slightest to a modern computer, to me the emphasis would be on keeping it running.

I'd pick up a Dell, Lenovo or HP with next day warranty for parts/replacement over a extended period.

    Workstation models from either company

If it was me, I'd pick up the smaller models like a HP Z2 mini or Lenovo P340 or one of dells precision workstation SFF models. All sell with a Quadro P400 or above for 4 displayport monitors. They are smaller, can be mounted behind screens, run cooler. And if parts fail, they are pretty quick to just replace the whole unit usually.

I don't day trade so don't exactly understand but just to suggest:

Would you not consider a ultra-widescreen monitor, rather than 4 monitors? I use a 34' Acer Nitro ultrawide, Acer provide software that splits the screen in at least 9 different ways, so I'll have 2 excel screens, a word and a web browser open at the same time. It also does picture in picture, so I can have my fire stick input and catch a match whilst doing some work.
I'm sure there are other options, perhaps a 49' ultrawide?
Ignore if this doesn't fit your needs.

    Much easier on the eyes

AFAIK traders would rather just have multiple monitors so they don't have to deal with software screen splitters.

Pre-builts and mini-PCs on amazon.de are also pretty well priced at the moment, particularly if you don't need a dedicated GPU as may be the case with the OP. Have picked up a couple of minis over the last few months and have a 64gb i9 10900k build on the way. Very pleased with all of them for value/performance so far.

Main thing with the OP is ability to drive four monitors, not sure if 10th gen Intel UHD or Vega 10 would do this for example. Googling shows lots of three monitor options but nor seeing four. If it did, something like this Lenovo i9 seems like good bang for your buck and a solid base for future expansion.

4x monitors require a dedicated GPU!

Displayport daisychaining could also do it but few monitors ever seemed to support it (but if OP is very very lucky it could make things easy for them). There's bound to be some kind of crazy box out there to allow you do it also but I wouldn't put much money on it being cheaper than a gpu :-o
