I wanted to order a 6 cubic yard skip, so I went Googling. Best price I could see was Panda @ €385. I phoned them, as I wanted to ask how long I could keep it for. I pressed number 2 - Domestic Skip Hire - and while I was waiting for my call to be answered, an automated voice told me to visit panda.ie, where I could make great online savings. When a human came on the line, she told me the price was €370. She then ascertained I was an existing Panda customer, and the price dropped to €360. Online saving my foot.

It's the bally ballyness of it that makes it all seem so bally bally.

No bargain there, I just got one a couple of weeks ago through alliedrecycling at €145 for a 4 cubic yard, a 6 would have been €240.

Allied are great. Cheapest by about EUR 30 around my area. As above price its €145 for a 4 cubic yard but they have it incorrectly priced higher on their website.

    €260 for 6 cubic yard
    €170 for 4
