Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Ceramic coating for new car - Limerick city

    Hello All,

    Firstly anyone done ceramic coating for their car? How do you find it?

    I am looking for ceramic coating for new Hyundai Tucson in the Limerick city.
    Got quote €400 for one coating. Is it good price?

    Sounds cheap for washing, decontamination, paint correction and ceramic applied.

    Have you got any details on the package your getting.

    The “cheap” guys here in Dublin would be €600ish

    Will paint correction required on a brand new car?

    It's Drexler ceramic coating, and will take 3 days. Is Drexler a good brand?

    From whom did you get that quote?

    MX Valeting are based in Limerick and owned by user on here by the name of JAMES_VTI_S. I had work done by him before and I would highly recommend him. He's a gent.

    All brand new cars will require paint correction but some will be better than others.

    I’ve never heard of Drexler if I’m honest.

    I got the quote from Eco Steam. Located in the basement of Limerick Strand. He has done polishing and washing and it was really good.
