    Bought a b818 HUAWEI modem from Amazon de . Took a chance on it because it’s branded Vodafone but in a comment it said it was unlocked , tried it out tonight and ‘3 ‘ (micro sim) worked , way cheaper than from Amazon uk .
    Will spend a bit of time working out best location and will try eir over next few days .
    Can use external antenna with this model if necessary.I intend to connect to mesh system (orbi) .
    If it works out well over few weeks will look at finishing up with Imagine .
