XC90 PHEV from North

    Thinking of taking the plunge on one of these coz the kids ain't getting any smaller and really need that extra row of seats at this stage. The wife was looking at a 2017/18 2.0D but from looking online assuming one becomes available in the North I reckon I would get one in for much better value. VRT on a 2019 T-8 R-Design Pro 407BHP is coming in around the €6k mark.

    I've read a few different things around importing from the North. One is the car can only have been registered in the North and cannot even have been registered in the UK. The other is a car can previously have been registered in the UK as long as it was prior to 01 Jan 2021.

    Does anyone have a definitive answer on which it is ?
